Our clean, spacious kennels are attached to a large barn or 4×5 hutch, which stays about 20 degrees cooler than outside in the summer. We are located 15 minutes from UC Davis Veterinary Hospital and 10 minutes from the Nut Tree in Vacaville, conveniently located just off i-80.

With safety at the top of our priority list, we go above and beyond to keep your dog as healthy as possible. In addition to hosing out the kennels throughout the day, all kennels are cleaned with dawn soap and sanitized with Kennelsol, each and every day. Many facilities only sanitize after a dog checks out. However, a daily cleaning and sanitizing, reduces the chance of outbreaks, critical for a safe kennel environment. Dogs have newly sanitized bowl for each meal. This reduces the risk of spreading diseases that pass through saliva.

Steve Klassen, has been training dogs professionally since 1992 and was Blue Ridge’s head trainer for the past 30 years.  His soft touch with training and charming personality won over the owner of a German Shorthaired Pointer named Bruce. Steve and Caitlin were married in 2019 and have shared ownership of the kennel, about 5 years later she convinced Steve to retire.

Our loyal manager Rebecca, maintains a low-key but dog-centered boarding facility, with a client base that stretches back to the early 90’s.
